2:30pm: Dave Barkeley / Mel Kendziorski vs. Troy Staten / Dan Loding The Cobra Kai’s ace scramble team gets some redemption from last year with a big victory. Even 98 year old Mel and his super soft flex women’s driver contribute. In typical fashion, Mel will dust the cop webs off one of his 19 clubs in his bag and hole out from the fringe on the 16th hole to seal it. Cobra Kai 4&2
2:39pm: Andy Kasischke / Casey Jensen vs. Chris Zale / Rob Juncaj Coming off a combined 37 hours of consecutive sleep, “Team Excitement” Junks and Zale take down the reigning MVP. Casey holds them off as long as he can but as usual, Andy provides zero assistance to his partner. Lombardo 3&2
2:48pm: Chris Loding / Kevin Dever vs. Eric Wachterhauser / Kyle Eckles The first one on one match of the weekend starts here while C-Lo and Eric will battle each other. Meanwhile, Kevin and Eckles will be trading pills, herbs, spices, and stories of California with one another. However, the difference in this scramble will be the fact that Eckles will annoy his partner Eric so much that it will open the door for the Cobra Kai victory. Cobra Kai 2&1
2:57pm: Luke Kendziorski / Steve Gordon vs. Brad Coombs / Jason Collinsworth Brad didn’t draw the best partner for his first Ryder Cup match. Jason is mostly known for shooting in the high 150s. Jason’s poor play and Brad being the new comer to the group will leave them disadvantaged. It won’t help that Luke will never shut up and Gordon’s cloud of smoke will blur their vision. Cobra Kai wins big. Cobra Kai 4UP
3:06pm: David Santini / Zach Griffiths vs. Ken Mihelich / Jeff Eckles Ken and Jeff should be feeling good after getting their senior discounts at the course. The late tee time could cause them trouble as they will have to miss their 4:00pm dinner reservation at the Old Country Buffet. But, with the Bandit’s lack of sleep and Ken and Jeff constantly asking him (a doctor) about all their arthritis and ailments, he won’t be able to pull it out. Lombardo 1UP
3:15pm: Brandon Lietke / Patty Mihelich vs. Nathan Lietke / Steve Seargeant The heated rivalry continues. If Brandon can keep his food down this year, it should be a very tight match. Searge’s knees have been knocking about this match ever since it was announced. The match comes down to the 18th green where Brandon misses a big putt and give Lombardo the point. Lombardo 1UP
