2018: As a member of Team Lombardo, Ty was already at a disadvantage. But once he was paired up with his (kissing) cousin Dan-o, it was a real uphill battle. Not much he could do in his opening loss. His captains didn’t do him any favor by pairing him with Kyle on Saturday morning. Although despite all the setbacks he did battle to only a 2&1 loss against powerhouses Casey and Mel. It did set the stage for a grueling 1 on 1 match against Kevin Saturday afternoon. It came down to the 18th hole but he was able to finally get the W.
2019: Ty had the distinct pleasure of teaming up with eventual 2019 LVP Brandon, 2018 LVP Zach, and 2016 LVP Luke. He drew some tough partnerships. He carried Brandon as far as he could in the first round but came up short. However the potential biggest swing match of the tournament was when he teamed up with Zach to take down Jason and Ken M. That was a huge point! He eventually lost to Jason in the 1 on 1 but had to put up with Luke in the cart with him the whole time, so that is understandable.
2021: Ty had a great showing in this years Ryder Cup. Minus the first round, where Ken was able to take down both Rick and Ty, he was able to bounce back against E-dub and Nick with Brad. Ty and Brad found a great pairing and were able to win 3&1. Ty's 1v1 match was against Jason. Jason was having a great weekend up until he met against Ty. Jason's game was on a downward spiral and Ty was able to turn the knife. Jason actually won the first 2 holes and the match was looking like it would going to be a tight one, but Ty was able to battle back and turn the tide, up 2 at the turn. Ty never looked back from the Par-3 8th hole birdie and won the match 4&2.
Tyler was finally brought into the Lietke Ryder Cup with hopes of restoring some dignity to the Loding name. He failed miserably! He has a lot to live up to with C-Lo's golf game and Dan-o's incoherence already so prevalent in the Ryder Cup. The group is finally happy to have a Loding in the group that everyone can tolerate.
Ryder Cup Highlight
After having to be paired with his moron cousin Dan-o and Eckles, Ty's first year in the Ryder Cup wasn't off to a great start but what a better opportunity than to face off against the most annoying person in the Ryder Cup not named Loding......you guessed it Kevin Dever! He took full advantage and beat him on the 18th green for his first Ryder Cup point and a satisfying victory.
Younger brother Ty actually lost his virginity before big brother Chris and deranged cousin Dan-o.
